Quality, industry-specific wording is the foundation of a high converting website. During our initial strategy meeting, I will guide you on how best to gather your website copy (words). I have prompts and templates to get you started and make it a digestible task. While I will do light editing for you (yes, I have a red pen, and I like to use it!), you are responsible for providing the best words to reflect your business. I have referrals to share if you prefer to hire a professional copywriter.

Well-lit and thoughtfully composed photography is key to a dazzling website. Please consider hiring a professional photographer for your headshot and product images. Many stock photography sites have free or affordable photos for website use. I will give you a list of these sites during your web design Prep + Plan stage. If you're in Northern Nevada, I know local photographers who have mad skills.

Your website will be built so you or your staff can maintain it with confidence and ease. At launch, we'll have a 60-minute one-on-one training session to teach you the ins and outs of your site. You will learn how to keep your SEO up to date and use any integrated programs such as Squarespace Scheduling or MLS/IDX (for real estate professionals).
Thirty days of post-launch email/phone/Zoom support is included. I am happy to help you work through any kinks that inevitably sneak up in the weeks following launch. Your site will have a hidden page with video tutorials covering the basics of Squarespace and how to add or change text, photos, products, and blog posts.
If you want to make tweaks or updates down the line but don't want to do them yourself, I am available on an hourly basis. Just reach out, and we'll chat.

Yes! I have a graphic design background and offer simple typographic logo design with color palette and font pairing. This adds roughly a week to the Prep + Plan stage of your website design.
I don't provide complete brand strategy which includes coordinating elements such as patterns, icons and social media templates. If you prefer complete branding, I have great referrals. Full branding can be a lengthy process. When we discuss timelines and start dates for your website build, please keep that in mind.

Squarespace is a user-friendly platform that makes it easy for you to maintain, update, and monitor your website on your own. In addition, it has excellent built-in search engine optimization capabilities (SEO) to keep your website at the top of a Google search. I love that Squarespace sites are mobile responsive and easy to customize for my clients’ aesthetic. I have experience building websites with HTML, Blogger, and WordPress. I have exclusively used Squarespace since 2018, and it consistently meets my needs and the needs of my clients.
Occasionally, someone may need a website feature that requires a different platform than Squarespace. If during your free consultation call, we decide Squarespace isn’t a good fit for you, I will refer you to designers specializing in a platform that will better meet your needs.

My web design packages don't include your Squarespace plan (I have a 20% discount code for your first year) or domain cost (free for the first year if purchased through Squarespace).
You will be responsible for additional subscription-based integrations such as Email Campaigns, Google WorkSpace, or Scheduling. If you opt for Squarespace-affiliated integrations, you will receive a 20% discount for the first year.
Content for legal pages, such as your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, is not included. I'll share reasonably priced online resources for these. When in doubt, consult professional legal advice.

Payment schedules vary with different packages. Typically I follow the process below.
After your free consultation, if you choose to book with me, I will send a detailed proposal and contract. After signing, 1/3 payment is due to reserve a spot on my calendar and start the Prep + Plan stage. After your content is gathered, 1/3 is due before I start your website build. The remaining 1/3 will be paid when the build is complete and you've given your final approval.
Payments are processed through online billing using Stripe. A credit card is needed for your transaction.

If you are a broker building a brokerage site: ABSOLUTELY. I integrate Squarepace with iHomefinder to build robust brokerage sites.
If you a building a personal realtor website, the short answer is NO!
Medium answer: Your potential clients are already using IDX through Realtor.com, Zillow, Redfin and/or your broker’s umbrella site. They started using it years before they were ready to buy a home and they are savvy! Adding IDX to your site is NOT solving a problem for your visitors. It just distracts them from learning who you are, what you do and how to work with you.
Longer answer: Learn about why individual real estate agents don’t need IDX with my in-depth blog post here.

I’d love to hear from you! I usually reply within 24 hours Monday-Thursday. Occasionally it will take a bit longer, but I promise I will get back to you.
